Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County is hosting their fourth annual Hammers and High Heels event Thursday, May 1st at the Factory.
The event will run from 6p-9:30p and include food booths from local restaurants, live music, drinks and a silent auction. All funds go directly to build a home through Habitat’s Women Build Program.
Women Build is a Habitat Build where women of all walks of life come together to address the housing crisis that faces many of the women and children of Williamson County. This year’s home will be presented to Nikki Jones and her three children: Ayana (11), James (8) and Nicolas (5). Nikki has
worked for Williamson Medical Center for the past seven years and believes homeownership will bring an added layer of stability for her family.
For each build, $70,000 must be raised for building materials. So far, $20,000 has been raised.
“Every year we have great event, but this year’s Hammers and High Heels is not to be missed,” notes Habitat Williamson Director of Communications Jennee Galland. READ MORE
